The technology is fast approaching when military aircraft flying over a battlefield will be capable of being operated entirely by AI. They would therefore be cheaper to make since they would not need cockpits or ejector seats. They would also be cheaper to run since they would not need to be flown to keep pilots professionally competent.
The RAF is run by pilots, for pilots.
Will AI ever replace RAF Pilots flying RAF Warplanes over battlefields?
No. The pilots will still be flying the warplanes, but remotely from the ground, irrespective of how well AI develops.
