Cruising the North Atlantic

Mary wrote:We both slept well and went for a leisurely early breakfast in the Ballindalloch restaurant and were in time for the 1000 talk by Sir Andrew Burns. I could not keep awake and will give him a miss in the future. The sea is getting rougher, and I am not feeling well so did not have any lunch and stayed in the cabin. At 1830 this evening 6½ metre waves are expected.

I took my Warfarin at 1830 and then ordered room service for around 2030. Mel went to table 45 and everybody else was there. I was actually sick at 2030 and my food arrived just after. It did not look appetising. I had steamed cod and plain rice and a croissant and a white roll and ate fruit salad on a bed of cream. I ate about half the fish and picked the fruit from the cream. I ate the croissant and also about half of the roll. I left the other pastry. After I had eaten, I got ready for bed and slept until 0900 the next morning. I never heard Mel return. He had been to the Neptune lounge and had enjoyed the musician.
