We also went to the talk on ‘New York Music - part 1’ about stars from 100 years ago, such as Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra etc given by Ed Glinert who gave us snippets of all the songs.
Mel went to the ‘Armed Forces Get Together’, so I went for lunch. He met up with about a dozen others. In the afternoon we went to a classic guitarist concert by Ben Kearsley. I then did some knitting after going for tea and then got ready for the second formal evening.
