Cruising

Mary wrote: When it was time to get up, I was wishing I had ordered breakfast in the cabin, since it seemed impossible to get up and go to the restaurant. I got up and washed my hands and took my tablets and then went back to bed to give it a chance to settle before getting dressed. Half an hour later we got to the restaurant 30 minutes before it closed at 0930.

I had porridge and melon, followed by a hardboiled egg and one slice of toast. We then went back to the cabin. I did some knitting but did not go to the craft class. We both gave lunch a miss but went for tea at around 1600, and I had quite a bit to eat as I was feeling hungry.

We have both been looking at the Internet, so we know roughly where we are going to walk tomorrow in Portland. We are now due to dock at 2000 this evening. The captain has just mentioned something about the stabilisers and told us to hang on to the handrails when moving around the ship. I just hope we do not get too jostled around before we eat at o830. If we do, I shall order room service tomorrow.

Tomorrow, we have got to produce our ESTA forms, passports and FO keys for the USA Customs and Border protection officials. They are scheduled to board the ship at 0800, and we are asked to have our breakfast before 0800.
