Bolette

An introductory overview of the Canary Islands

Located off the coast of Morroco, Spain's Canary Islands have a most impressive collection of quite different landscapes, such as recent vulcanology bereft of vegetation, abundant vegetation on other islands, dense natural forestry, a high mountain with traces of ice and snow on the top, tropical beaches (in Jannuary!) strewn with sunbathers, and a tropical rain forest.

Our experience and activities on board MV Bolette

Entertainment:There was always a plentiful provision each day of entertainment of all sorts, acting, singing, instrumentation. We were also able to attend series of illustrated talks/lectures on a very wide rnge of subjects, which always included our future ports of call.

Activities:There were small swimming pools in the open air on an upper deck, both fore and aft, together with adjacent hot tubs and a small gymnasium, but we didn't try them, (and very few other passengers did).

Catering:The catering was beyond criticism, absolutely delicious. There was always a plentiful supply, always a very wide choice, and with no limit to the quantity of food consumed.

Covid Measures: No-one was required to wear face masks on board or ashore, except when travelling by coach on an island tour.
