Explored Delhi

We arrived at Delhi Airport at 10:20 (Delhi time). After collecting our luggage, we were all met by Anil, our expert Indian leader of our tour, who was holding up a Titan flag, and who directed us to our bus for the holiday, which took us to the 5-star Suryaa Hotel.

After a little time for refreshment and relaxation, we headed out to soak up the sights and sounds on an afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi. We saw the India Gate memorial, built to commemorate the Indian soldiers who died during the Great War, and passed the official residence of the President of India. Later we continued to UNESCO-protected Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world.
