We then walked a mile around Deck 7, stopping several times, as I am not feeling great, probably AF, and I also seem to have hurt my left ankle/foot. We ate barbequed food on deck at lunchtime, and then spent most of the afternoon in the sunshine. The bathing pool was pretty rough because of the wind, and waves were splashing up out of the pool.
After dinner we went to see Brenda Simeon, (one of the Filipino staff), play a tribute too Matt Monroe. (Mel slept through most of it). We had an appointment with the Future Cruise Manager, Naomi. We inspected Junior Suite 9020 on Deck 9, which had a bath but no shower, so it would be necessary to ask for a shower. Canapies, fruit, flowers, bath robes and slippers are all provided at an additional cost. The total extra charge for this cruise would have been £6,000 each.
