The details of our visit

In the morning we explored several interesting buildings in the centre of the town, and after lunch we climbed to the top of the city wall and walked around it. It is still complete and there is a footpath all the way round the top. Because the ground is very hilly there are a 1,200 steps, both up and down. This splendid wall was definitely the highlight of the day.
